These terms cover your use of 949 Mixtape, a service operated by Adult Supervision LLC ("we", "us"). By using 949 Mixtape you agree to them.
1The service
949 Mixtape lets you put together a tape of song links and voice notes you record, and share it through a private link. People you share it with can play your notes on the tape page and open each song in a music service of their choice. They don't need an account.
2Accounts
Making tapes requires an account tied to your email address. Keep access to that email secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
3Your recordings and content
You keep ownership of the voice recordings, titles, dedications, and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process, and show that content to people who open your share links, only so we can run the service.
You're responsible for what you add. Only record and upload content you have the right to share, and don't record other people without their permission. Voice notes are for your own voice: don't upload commercial music recordings as notes. Notes can be up to 2 minutes each.
4Things you can't do
- Post anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
- Use tapes, links, or texts to contact someone who doesn't want to hear from you.
- Impersonate someone else or mislead people about who made a tape.
- Infringe anyone's copyright, privacy, or other rights.
- Send spam, or try to break, overload, or get around the limits and security of the service.
5Music and third-party services
Song links point to third-party services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. 949 Mixtape does not host, stream, or store the commercial music recordings. Those services decide what's available, and a song may be missing, change, or disappear from a service at any time. Their own terms apply when you use them.
We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify, Apple, or Google. Their names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe where links go.
6Share links
Anyone with a tape's link can open it, so share it with the people you mean it for. You can turn a link off or replace it with a new one at any time; the old link then stops working.
7SMS terms
Recipients can choose to get text messages from 949 Mixtape telling them when the next voice note on a tape is ready.
- Optional. Enrollment is voluntary. You don't need to agree to texts to open or play a tape.
- Frequency varies. Messages are tied to the tape you opted in on, usually no more than one per chapter you start.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or use "Stop texts" on the tape page.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at our support email address (not yet published).
- Delivery isn't guaranteed. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Timing is an estimate based on the songs' listed lengths, not on what you actually played.
8Reports and removal
Anyone can report a tape from its page. We may remove content, turn off links, or suspend accounts that break these terms.
9Availability and changes
We work to keep 949 Mixtape running, but it may be unavailable at times, and we may change or discontinue features. We'll update these terms when things change and revise the effective date above.
10Disclaimers and liability
949 Mixtape is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Adult Supervision LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for the availability or content of third-party music services.
